No. They scan a QR or open a link, enter their details, upload their ID, and sign, all on their own phone with no account needed. If a client wants to keep and review their consents, they can create an account or use the consent.app companion app.
What happens if an age check shows someone is under age? (coming soon)
The form will calculate age from the date of birth in real time and block anyone below your threshold before they can submit — so an under-age consent never reaches your records.
Is uploaded ID stored securely during age verification?
Yes. The ID photo is encrypted the moment it's uploaded and stays bound to that one record — on European infrastructure for EU accounts, US infrastructure for US accounts. Never a loose photo sitting in someone's camera roll.
