Delete your account
You can close your consent.app account and have your information deleted at any time. There are two ways to do it: yourself in the app, or by asking us to do it for you.

Delete it yourself in the app
This is the quickest way, and the steps are the same in the webapp and in the mobile app.
- Log in to your account, in the consent.app webapp or mobile app.
- Open Settings — open it in the webapp, or find it in the mobile app.
- Open Account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm when you are asked to.
Once you confirm, your account is closed and the information held in it is deleted.
Or ask us to delete everything
If you cannot get into your account, or you would simply rather we did it for you, email privacy@consent.app and tell us you want your account and all your information deleted.
Please write from the email address your account uses. If you write from a different address, we may need to ask you a question or two first, so that nobody else can close your account.
There is no form to fill in and no fee. We answer requests like this within one month, and confirm by email once it is done. The GDPR & CCPA page sets out the deadlines in full.
Before you delete
- Deleting is permanent. There is no undo, and an account cannot be restored once it is gone.
- Save anything you still need first. Download the consent records or PDFs you want to keep before you start, because they go with the account.
Your other data rights
Deleting your account is one of several rights you have over your data. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, have something corrected, or object to how it is used. The GDPR & CCPA page explains each right and how to use it, and the Privacy Policy sets out what we collect.
Those two pages cover this website. Your account and your consent records live in the consent.app product, which has its own privacy document, shown to you when you create an account or install the app.
